GETTING HERE
During our spring and fall hunting seasons, traveling along the Sea To Sky Highway, or Highway 1 is the recommended travel route for their incredible scenery. For those traveling during our winter season, we strongly recommend traveling the Trans Canada Hwy 1 route; as the Sea to Sky, Hwy 99 route winds its way through high elevation mountain passes, and can be treacherous. For those guests who prefer commercial air travel, Kelowna B.C. (YLW) is the closest airport. We will meet you upon your arrival for the 4.5 hour car ride to our hunting concession.
Pickup and drop-off from Kelowna may be included in the price of the hunt if time allows and specified in advance. We suggest hunters fly into Vancouver directly, and hire a rental car to drive the 4 hours to our hunting area. Overall, this is the easiest option available.
Travel Insurance
If you would normally purchase travel insurance for medical or trip cancellation on a vacation, consider this the same. Arcadia Outfitting does not give refunds, so it is recommended to purchase coverage in the event that you cannot make the hunt. We highly recommend you protect your hunt investment with trip insurance.
The Guide Outfitters Association of British Columbia (GOABC) now offers hunters travel insurance. Special programs for clients of GOABC have been created by Lutz Financial Services, including trip cancellation, trip interruption, and medical emergency coverage while in Canada. This coverage is specifically designed for adventure and wilderness trips and can be personalized for Canadian and international clients. Please see the following link for details: https://www.goabc.org/travel-insurance/
